Temperamento

Thaissa

Over the course of the next two years, 2026 and 2027, the artist Thaissa will undertake the composition of a four-act map of her own affective territory: a sonic tetralogy titled Temperamento (Temperament), a project of novelistic ambition that will unveil, semester by semester, the different continents of her creative psyche. Temperamento vol i ("palabra" / word), ii ("surco" / groove/furrow), iii ("bramido" / bellow/roar), and iv ("alteridad" / otherness).

Each of these four semi-albums will function as an autonomous yet inseparable chapter of a larger work: a single voice inhabiting the distinct rhythmic and melodic universes that have captivated her.

Each semi-album will feature a guest appearance by a female artist or group, beginning with Manuela Ocampo, with whom Thaissa previously collaborated on her debut Anómala on the song "5 con Tinchito."

The project is already alive in the world: the songs from "Palabra" have been performed live, and four other tracks from the other semi-albums have revealed early versions of their composition.
